Lea Roy received a Creative Writing and Theatre degree from Florida State University. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina but raised in Miami Beach—Lea is a playwright, director, ukulele player, guitarist and vocalist who has collaborated with South Florida artists and musicians on a broad range of creative projects.

She has been a teaching artist for over 10 years and in January of 2020, Lea and her husband had boy/girl twins, Johnny and Juliet!

She is passionate about arts education and believes in nurturing authenticity and self expression in young artists.
