Caleb Waymeyer

Caleb has a Bachelors of Music in piano performance and pedagogy from Florida Atlantic University, where he studied with Dr. Irena Kofman. He began learning piano at an early age and started teaching privately in high school. As a senior in high school, he won first place in the Palm Beach County Music Teacher’s Association Competition for Piano.

In 2018 and 2019, Caleb attended the Cremona International Music Academy in Cremona, Italy. Here was able to perform in many different concerts and have masterclasses and lessons with teachers from around the world. He also participated in the Cremona International Music Academy Piano Competition, where he was a prize winner both years, also receiving award for best etude performance in 2019. Later that year, Caleb was selected as one of three winners of FAU’s 13th annual Concerto and Aria Competition, and he performed Chopin’s Concerto No. 2 in F minor with the FAU Symphony Orchestra.

Caleb frequently performs in a variety of settings. He enjoys composing and arranging music for piano.
